Precious People is dedicated to offering a loving, safe, fun, and educational, home away from home. Located in a great neighborhood southeast of 57th St. and Cliff Ave. Operating since 2000. Though ages and ratio limits do not require it, I employ an assistant in order to provide the best care and education for your little learner! Snacks and lunch are provided, along with field trips and outings for older and summer children. As a certified teacher I love to instruct and educate children of all ages and provide many resources for their learning experiences and overall growth through the years! Outdoor time is a must (even in the winter) with a privacy fenced back yard, large play equipment and expansive play area, also including bikes, cars, and other ride on toys. Your child will never be shuffled amongst care givers or teachers. I also offer close parent provider relations and will send pictures and letters on a regular basis. Along with continued graduate education, CPR/First Aid, and continual training is ongoing. Precious People is a safe, loving, educational environment for children. Many references are available! If you would like more information or to schedule a visit, please call or email.

We work hard on self-help, self-awareness, manners, learning through play, science, field trips, getting ready for school, etc.
I have been in the childcare profession since opening Witte Kids Daycare in July of 2010 when my husband and I had our first child. We have 4 children and only our youngest is home with me during daycare daily (our oldest 3 are in school). I live off Sycamore and 49th, so I am located near John Harris Elementary. I am able to transport school-aged children after school to my home for care as I (or my husband) pick up 2 of our children from that school daily. I focus a lot on allowing all of the children in my care to learn through play. Those children three and up are able to focus more on preschool type work at different times throughout the day. We get to enjoy a lot of field trips throughout the year since I have a 15 passenger van. I serve breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack daily. We have a wonderful fenced in backyard with a lot of great things to play with and learn from. We are conveniently located on a cul de sac which helps ensure safety for all of the children when we play with bikes and other toys in the front of the house.
